The saying is true. You are what you eat. It's so important to fuel your body with foods that are nutrient dense and energy rich. Studies have shown that a diet rich in dark leafy greens and fruits and vegetables will be greatly beneficial. This grocery haul supplemented the fruits, veggies, nuts, and dairy that I already had in my home. In the next entry, I'll show you how I used some of my household groceries to make my lunches for the entire week.
Here's what I got:
- 96% Lean ground beef
- 100% egg whites
- frozen pineapple chunks (for smoothies)
- Organic spinach
- Kale green
- Sweet potatoes
- baby potatoes
- banana chips
- cranberries
- raw honey
- lemons
- High fiber, low carb bread
- spices (time, garlic)
To your Health. To your Beauty. To You.
