Wake up in the morning to this protein and nutrient packed shake. Not to mention, it's DELICIOUS! This shake is rich is the micro nutrients: lauric acid (from the coconut milk), potassium, vitamin C, B6, Manganese, and the macronutrients: Dietary fiber and protein. It contains the healthy carbohydrates, and when consumed with protein and the small amount of fat from the coconut milk, it has a great glycemic rating. What you'll need:
1 scoop All natural whey protein (I used Designer whey. Any is fine, but try to avoid those with aspartame)
1 cup frozen diced pineapples
1 medium banana
1/2 cup coconut milk
squeeze of fresh lemon juice (1-2tbsp)
purified water (just enough to get the blender going (2-3tbsp) if needed*
